Life can be tough, and sometimes you find yourself overwhelmed, facing challenging relationships, stressful changes, and painful past experiences. It can be difficult to know who to turn to for support and how to hold on to hope. Along the way, you can lose yourself and the ability to connect with those you love, often pushing away your needs and not taking time for yourself. All of this can lead to long-term issues for your mind and body. I believe there is hope for you to take a step back from it all and learn to build a life you love living.

I offer a custom approach to each of my clients. We start by understanding where you are now and the challenges you are facing. Then, we help you put a plan in place to move forward while celebrating your successes along the way. I offer Christian counseling in an inclusive, safe space through virtual appointments to suit your schedule.

Having worked in several ministry & organizational leadership positions over the past 20 years, my passion lies in equipping communities to develop healthy practices that can sustain the work they do for years to come. In the current leadership and mental health crisis we are facing, I am committed to developing resources for churches and community leaders to grow safe, abuse-free environments where people can build belonging and thrive together. My expertise lies in executive team training, pastoral & leadership mental health support and coaching, expert mental health consultation services, and team culture & health development. Please contact me for more information regarding how I can support you, your team, and your community to reach your goals for health.

The first step in improving yourself and your life is the hardest, especially when you’re dealing with overwhelming feelings and life circumstances. I would love to help you take that initial step. Reach out today to see how we can begin the process together.

What Brings Me A Sense of Ease
When I’m not cheerleading people toward health & healing, you can find me hiking with my dog, Gryffindor, or cuddling up next to my family, lost in a book.

Shame. We all experience shame, don’t we? We experience shame when we don’t feel like we’re enough or when we feel like we’re too much. When we feel like no one seems to get us. When we struggle with pain, loss, grief, anxiety, depression, and brokenness, we experience shame from the things we’ve done and the things done to us. Shame causes us to cover up and hide even though we desperately long to be seen, known, and loved.

Shame thrives on secrecy. If we open ourselves up to others, we risk being judged and criticized, which can lead to more shame. Reaching out for help when you’re stuck in shame is hard and feels impossible. It’s scary. I get that, but I also know that staying stuck in shame is a bigger risk because it keeps you from experiencing life, joy, and love. It’s a heavy burden to carry, but the remedy to shame is vulnerability, met with compassion.

I offer a safe space for clients to share, be seen, and be heard without judgment. I walk alongside them with compassion and help them unpack and process what’s underneath the shame in order to heal. Reach out today and unburden yourself. You don’t have to hide anymore.

I am compassionate and easy to connect with, and I am passionate about creating a safe space for you to address the things in your life that need to change. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, pastors, and church leaders facing anxiety, shame, difficulty setting and upholding boundaries, or going through transitions. In my work with couples, I use Prepare-Enrich as a tool to support this work and identify and assess the unique challenges your relationship is facing. Together, we can pinpoint target areas in need of strengthening to deepen and enrich your connection.

Contact me today to schedule a free consultation and learn how I can help you find the change you are looking for.

Do you ever feel stuck? Sometimes, we find ourselves stuck in painful emotions or negative thoughts and can’t seem to break out on our own. Many of us have fallen into this cycle of irrational thoughts, painful feelings, and unwanted consequences. I’d like to help you think clearer, navigate emotions, and adapt during difficult situations.

As a therapist, my job is to help you change irrational thoughts about situations so you can feel, behave, and think more clearly and adaptively. The benefits of therapy for adults, couples, teenagers, and children include gaining more insight into yourself, developing healthy coping strategies, improving your relationships, and receiving treatment for mental illnesses like anxiety or depression. In order for this to happen, I artfully create a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for internal experiences to be processed and listened to deeply.

I have accumulated increasing years of experience serving adults, couples, teenagers, and children, and I am honored to witness their change and development into resilient people. I enjoy using mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help you feel empowered and supported. I offer individual and group therapy to support adults, couples, teens, and children with depression, anxiety, unmanaged stress, relationship skills, and trauma symptoms. I also enjoy working with couples to support them in deepening intimacy and understanding. I use Prepare-Enrich as a tool to support this work to identify and assess the unique challenges your relationship is facing. Together, we can pinpoint target areas in need of strengthening to deepen and enrich your connection. Additionally, I appreciate navigating through the complexities of the Christian faith in a world full of hopelessness and pain.

I understand how scary or discouraging it can be to find the right therapist. I’d like to reach my hand out to you; as you (figuratively) grasp it, we can travel this journey together to discover your issues, strengths, and areas of change. I encourage you to know that I will meet you where you are and if you feel lost, don’t worry, I will bring my binoculars.

When working with teens and children, I like to meet with the parents first. As we begin our collaboration, I think that it is helpful to meet with the teen or child alone in subsequent confidential sessions and invite the parents to support our work. Frequent parent involvement is helpful for consistent change and long-lasting transformation.

As a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, my areas of focus include:

Individual & Family Therapy | Couples Therapy | Anxiety, Depression, & Stress | Grief, Loss, and Trauma | Women’s Issues | Christianity | Finding Meaning and Purpose.

As a Certified ADHD-Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I specialize in supporting clients with ADHD and related symptoms, helping them improve focus, memory, and overall mental well-being. My approach fosters a sense of belonging and happiness, empowering clients to navigate their unique challenges with confidence. With experience across diverse cases, I tailor strategies to meet individual needs, promoting lasting personal growth and fulfillment.

When you are ready to begin your healing journey, I offer a 15-minute consult to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or a family member live a more enjoyable life.
